He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Killen and Ada Killen (Rhind); and his siblings, Ethel, Douglas and Gary.

He is survived by: his significant other Elizabeth Illingworth; his siblings, Alden (Shirley) and Pat (John) of Edmonton, AB; and his siblings-in-law, Roger (Joan) and Colleen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
