Winnifred Rita Stevens Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Winnifred Rita Stevens of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest R Blakeney and Miriam L Blakeney (Scallion); her husband James L Stevens; her children, Donald J and Carole D Morton; and her siblings, Olive Bellefontaine, Jean Boudreau, Dorothy Blakeney, Kenneth, Gerald and Reginald.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Stevens, Joanne Mannette and Beverley Fraser; her grandsons, James and Robert Fraser; and her sister Hazel Hennel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Dartmouth Funeral Home (29 Queen St, Dartmouth, NS B2Y1E9).
