He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Savidant and Alice Savidant; his wife Noreen Savidant (Flood); his daughter Nancy Heppleston; his sons-in-law, Marc Arsenault and Peter Heppleston; and his siblings, Gertrude Savidant, Marie MacEachern, Francis Arsenault, Louis Savidant, Rose Tinneberg and Edward Savidant.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Forbes (Peter) and Michele Robia (Howard); his grandchildren, Jamie Forbes (Erin), Marianne Botting (Michael), Natalie Robia (Mark Greene), Stephen Robia (Taylor Holmans) and Justin Forbes (Chelsey McPhail); his great grandchildren, Dominic, Roman, Elias, Charlotte and Willow; and his siblings, Earl Savidant (Betty), Shirley MacIsaac (Ronnie) of Charlottetown, Joyce Keizer (Norman) of Charlottetown and Jean MacDonald (Halifax). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
