He was predeceased by: his father Wilfred Avery; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Hill; and his grandparents, Clement Avery, Emilie Richard, Harvey MacKenzie and Delphine McKenzie.
He is survived by: his wife Josie; his children, Martha (Erdim), Emily, Brody, Cameron and Taylor; his mother Gloria Avery; his sisters, Terry and Shannon; his nephews, Brandon, Devan and Tristan; his great-nephew Dylan; his parents-in-law, Gerald and Gertie Hill; his siblings-in-law, Leo (Kevin) and Stephanie (Adam); and his nieces, Isabela and Abigail. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
