With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wilda Josey of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Wilda left this world on January 28, 2025 at the age of 64, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Evie Sophia Stewart; her parents, William Smith and Nina Smith of Moser River; her brother Verdie Smith (Helen); her siblings-in-law, Helen and Brian Schleihauf; and her nephew Billy.
She is survived by: her sister Shirley Hatch (Murray); her children, Taylor Josey (Ruth), Christopher, Callie, Gracie, Desiree Pratt, Michael, Aiden, Brooke, Ella and Petra Mitchell (Andrew); her sister Irmie; and her nieces and nephews, Shelley, Kenny, Michelle, Janice, Pammy, Robbie, Cindy and Nancy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any animal shelter or rescue.
