With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valerie Lynn Strachan of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 21, 2023 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Strachan and Dorothy Strachan (Goudreault); her grandmothers, Vera Strachan (Powell) and Rene Goudreault; and her siblings, Steven, Ron, Don, Faye and Pam.

She is survived by: her sisters, Nancy Flemming (Doug) and Arlene (Ken). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
