It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Dianne Austin (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward A. Austin (Ted); and her parents, Douglas C. Totten and Mildred J. Totten (Tattrie). She is survived by: her children, Pamela Lynn Austin (Troy Benoit) and Glenn Edward Allan Austin (Meghan Moody); her siblings, Carole Joyce (William Joyce) and Terry Totten; her brother-in-law Hugh Farquhar; and her nieces and nephews, Katherine Joyce, Rose Farquhar Madden, Laura Bordage, Kathy Austin-Surette, Billy Joyce, Graeme Farquhar, Glen Farquhar and Wayne Austin.
