It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Jane George in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Banks and Helen Banks (Parker); her husband Robert Charles George; her great-niece Brianne Newman; her siblings, Carol Ann, Audrey (Wylie Connell) and Jerome (Doreen Banks); her brothers-in-law, Donnie George and Patrick Uniac; and her close friend Barb Cribby.

She is survived by: her daughter Nicole Vaughan (Bobby); her grandchildren, Hailee Jordan (Shane) of Trenton, ON, Ryan Guinchard (Jen Lucas) of Nfld, Madison Vaughan of Brow of the Mountain and Tyson Vaughan (Shianne) of New Germany; her great grandchildren, Paige, Peyton and Maisy Jordan of Trenton, ON; her sisters, Vivian Uniac and Carolyn Newman (Mike); her nieces, Sandra Wasson (David) of Berwick and Sheila Newman (Robert Bernardo) of Berwick; her nephew Russell Banks (Debbie) of Summerside, PEI; and also Grace Vaughan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
