It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Gail MacKenzie of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Grant and Grace Grant of Dartmouth; her husband Tom Mackenzie; her grandchildren, Aiden Mackenzie and Jaydon Davis; her sister Judith MacDonald; and her sister-in-law Shelley Mackenzie.
She is survived by: her children, Gillian, Bonnie Mackenzie, Michael and David Mackenzie (Apiffanie); her siblings, Sharon Grover, Glenda Ellenberger (Brian), John "Jack" Grant and Ian Grant (Zelda); her grandchildren, Unique, Asia, Dalen, Lola, Madden, Kellen, Makayla, Ellie, Willem, Brandon, Mason, Ava, Bella and Alec; her great grandchildren, Kavaia and Aria; and her brother-in-law Robert Mackenzie (Kim). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9).
