He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Earl and Diana Shakness; his uncles, Greg Shakness and Leo Shakness; his cousin Josh; and his grandfather Alfred Chisholm.

He is survived by: his parents, Kelly Shakness and Kevin Chisholm (Ramona); his girlfriend Samantha Loughnane; his grandmother Rita Chisholm; and his stepsiblings, Alex, Brandon, Dakota and Amber. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
