Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ruth LeLacheur of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 100, on February 18, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Levine and Lena Levine (Wener); her former husband Ernie; and her siblings, Pearl Ann of Washington, D. C., Edith (Harry) of Montreal, Dorothy (Elmer) of Dartmouth, Lt. Jack and Arthur (Anita) of Inverness.

She is survived by: her husband Cape Bretoner; and her daughters, Kari (Stan) of Halifax and Lisa of Dartmouth. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Following this, Ruth enrolled at Acadia University earning a prestigious "gold A" for her contributions to the school paper and graduating in 1949 with an Arts degree in English.
