He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Esther Downey Crawley (Alfred) and Mrs Wilfred Simmons Sr.; and his godfathers, Bruce B. Downey and Colter Simmonds. He is survived by: his parents, Sharon Downey and Calvin Simmonds Sr.; his girlfriend Natasha Gillie; his children, Tionna Downey-Gillie, Talia Downey-Gillie, Jasmine Currie, Jalyssa Currie, Deontae Diggs and Tyrell Gillie; his siblings, Sha'Ondra Downey, Saedean Simmons, Calvin, Tyler Simmons, Lillian, Kelly, Melanie, Nicholas, Esther, Anastasia, Damian, Chikeia, Kanosha Elissa, Cassandra, Marco and Breiea; his godparents, Ceasther Simmonds, Rev. Debbie and Hank Simmons; and his godchildren, Laquesha Simmonds, D'arcie Simmonds, D'atra Simmonds, Egypt Simmonds, Isaiah Downey, Zendayah Sparks-Blaine and Kiacyn Reid. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
