He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Varner and Leah Varner; and his siblings, Loran, Earle, Raymond, Russell, Carl, Shirley (Cameron) and Ruth (Russell).
He is survived by: his siblings, Faye (Ken Hartlen), Hazel Cooke and Clinton; and his close friend Eleanor Plowman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
