He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Ward Scott and Glory Iona McGilvray; his brother Alexander; his parents-in-law, Ronald P. and Kathleen Smith; and his brother-in-law Floyd Henwood.
He is survived by: his aunt Ava; his uncle Carl; his close friend Whinney (Peat Marwick Thorne); his uncle Caddy (Fred); his wife Charlotte Ann Smith; his children, Catherine McCabe (Brian) of Powder Springs and Ronald (Jane) of East Jeddore; his grandchildren, Charlotte (Chris), Megan, Thomas, Kevin and Jason; his sister Anne Henwood; his niece Cheryl Rees (Drew); his nephew Todd Henwood (Karen); and his sister-in-law Margaret Smith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mattatall Funeral Home (217 Portland St, Dartmouth, NS B2Y1J5). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
