She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Greene (Henry) and Lloyd Greene; her husband James Colter; her son David Colter; her sisters, Karen King, Leah Trider (Don), Ellen Pohlmann and Marlene Campbell; and her brother-in-law Peter Thackray.

She is survived by: her children, Pat, Gary Colter (Patricia) and Shelley Colter (Dave); her brother Lloyd Greene (Heather); her daughter-in-law Daniela Colter; her siblings-in-law, Judy Thackray, Dave Campbell, Werner Pohlmann and Eric King; her grandchildren, Travis, Ryan, Amanda, Sean, Lauren, Liam and Julia; and her great grandchildren, Bruce, Louie and Wesley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
