With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Shirlie Black of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Bracebridge, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Verna Armour and William Armour. She is survived by: her husband Canon Charles Black; her children, Richard (Zenia), Michael of Calgary, AB, Maureen (Dan Allen), Cathy Aspinall and Peter (Carrie-Ann Smith); and her grandchildren, Kelsey Lee, Brennan Black, Christopher Spano, Ryan Aspinall (Lydia) and Leah Aspinall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Andrews Church Cole Harbour or to Feed Nova Scotia.
