It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Blakeney of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret Harris; his parents, Ernest Blakeney and Mariam Blakeney; his siblings, Jean, Olive, Dorothy and Gerald; his granddaughter Jill; and his son Robert (Bob).
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Schoener (Klaus) and Barbara Zimmerman (George); his daughter-in-law Janet Blakeney (Bob); his grandchildren, Isaac, Emily, Matthew, Sherri (Aaron), Erin (Dave) and Holly (Jason); his great grandchildren, Cooper, Alexandra, Addison and Sophie; his sisters, Winnifred Stevens and Hazel Hennel; and his wife Ida Richard.
