It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Lorraine MacLean in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold N. Soley and Winnifred L. Soley (Isenor); and her sister Carol Hunter (Frank). She is survived by: her children, Ann MacDiarmid (Robert) and Stuart (Carole); her grandchildren, Kirk MacDiarmid (Morgan Houston), Kristen MacDiarmid (Iain McLaren), Caeleigh MacLean (Will Haggerty) of Currys Corner, NS and Kerry MacLean (Molly Christiansen) of Grand Lake, NS; her great grandchildren, Lachlan and Findlay Haggerty; and her husband Brian MacLean. She is also survived by two nephews and two nieces.
