He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie and Flora; and his siblings, Lauchie (Diane), Theresa (Vince) and Marie (Billy).

He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Linda), Jennifer, Shelley (Merv) and Hughie (Rachelle); his grandchildren, Alex (Colleen), Katelyn (Arran), Adam, Rowyn, Connor, Emma, Jessica, Molly and Ian; his great grandchildren, Theo, Jack and Sam; and his siblings, Annie, Doddy (Anne) and Hughie Francis (Janet).
