He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald and Catherine; his siblings, Gerald, Barbara Noyes and Bernice Pelletier; his brother-in-law Teddy Conrad; his son-in-law Terry Charlton; his grandson Justin Charlton; and his great grandchild George van Tol.
He is survived by: his wife Louise "Tootsie" Poirier; his daughters, Pam Collins (Patrick), Susan Charlton and Carolyn Vess (Tom); and his siblings, Arthur (Joan), Frank, Kenneth (Ann), Billy (Ann) and Audrey Conrad. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
