It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Garth Mallett in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Mallett and Marion Mallett (Holmes); his brother Ralph (Georgie); and his brothers-in-law, Jack Clark, Rev. Gordon MacBeth (Barb) and Colin MacBeth (Melda).
He is survived by: his wife Nell Mallett (MacBeth); his children, Steven (Gail) and Cheryl Mallett-Skelton (John); his grandchildren, Julia, Jack, Alex, Jessica, Rebecca, Nadia and Vanya; his great grandchild Remi; his siblings, Deryck (Ann) and Joan Clark (Jack); and his sisters-in-law, Pearl Howell (David) and Barb MacBeth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn United Church (54 Woodlawn Rd, Dartmouth, NS B2W2S1).
