She was predeceased by: her husband Robert MacKay (Bob); and her parents, Francis Hawboldt and Edna Hawboldt (Blackburn). She is survived by: her children, Stephen, Linda, Debbie Avery (Steve) and Bob. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
