She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl D. Fullerton and Dorothy L. Fullerton (MacLeod); her husband Byron Sarson; her brother Dean Fullerton (Ann); and her stepmother Phyllis Fullerton (Matheson).

She is survived by: her brother Earl (Roxine); her children, Paula (James), Brad (Catherine) and Stephen (Tania); her grandchildren, Jared, Ethan, Hannah, Delano, Adam, Nicholas and Addison; her pet Mindy; her niece Dian Fullerton; and her caregivers, Thea, Iona, Bronwen and Abegail. She is also survived by niece and several nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission, Hope for Wildlife, or a charity of choice.
