He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Coombs and Abraham Coombs; his wife Annie; and his siblings, Helen, Charlie and Freeman.
He is survived by: his sons, Mel (Heather) and Derek (Melanie); his brother Ralph; and his grandchildren, Michael Coombs (Tamara), Jan Stewart (Garry), Tim Coombs (Melanie), Tara Osmond (Damion), Kaitlyn Flynn (Chris) and Candice Coombs-Arnason (Jarrod). He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
