He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Hugh Jack and Anna Jack (Brell); and his siblings, Frances, Marie and William.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his sons, Kevin (Kerri), Gregory (Susan) and Darryl (Nicolette); his grandchildren, Aleksander, Daniel (Allison), Keiran, Brandon, Olivia and Sophie; and his siblings, Ronald, Barbara and Sheila. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Nova Scotia or Iona Presbyterian Church.
