He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Hartlin and Elizabeth Hartlin (Paul); his wife Florence Winnifred Pitcher (Winnie); his siblings, Bill, Peter and Elizabeth; his sons, Matthew and James; and his children-in-law, Karen and Louis.

He is survived by: his children, Yvonne, Tony (Stacey), Paul (Doreen) and Judy; his grandchildren, Michael, Erin, Matthew, Skye, Breagh, Kara and Cassie; and his great grandchildren, Josh, Brandon, Kayla and Levi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
