It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Christena Heatley (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irad Morrison and Jessie Morrison (Ross); her husband Bill (Bill); and her siblings, James, Ross, Irad, Carey, Annie (Shaw), Irene (Shaw) and Jessie.
She is survived by: her sons, Derrick (Beryl) of MacLellans Brook, George (Toni) of Jacket Lake and Paul (Kim) of Lawrencetown; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Lynn (Scott), David, Colin (Missa), Noah, Abby and Isaac; her great grandchildren, Alder and Emilia; and her niece Myrtle Shaw of New Glasgow.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the South End Baptist Church (60 Hastings Dr, Dartmouth, NS B2Y2C6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Canadian Cancer Society in Grace's memory.
