She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Eavis and Leslie Eavis; and her brother Kenneth Eavis. She is survived by: her daughters, Deanna Wilmshurst (Niels) and Alina Gavel (Ben); her grandchildren, Madelyn Nielsen, Oliver Gavel, Abbey Gavel and Summer Nielsen; and her brother Boyd Eavis.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Hope for Wildlife in Dolores' name.

“My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Dee's Air B and B last summer. What a lovely, intelligent, kind soul ! I was reaching out to her by email today and thought I would check with google to make sure she was still at the same address. I then discovered the sad news that she had passed. We should all try and live life like Dee did. Heaven has gained an angel for sure. Our condolences to the family. RIP Dee”
