She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Nause and Ida Nause; her siblings, Anne-Marie and Darryl; and her father-in-law Roy McAlpine.

She is survived by: her husband William McAlpine (Bill); her children, Derek (Adrienne) and Cheryl (Joey); her grandchildren, Emma, Shane and Isaac; her siblings, Lawren (Susan), Ronald (late Linda), Stephen (Linda), Murray (Barb), Allen (Julie), Paul (Noreen) and Elaine (Dave); her mother-in-law Lottie; and her sisters-in-law, Kim (Brett), Cindy and Marg. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
