He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl (Bell); and his siblings, Madeliene Kiehl, Hazel Mary Atkinson, Freeman Hamilton and Clark Hamilton.

He is survived by: his close friend Louise Laybolt; and his children, Debbie Carroll (Mark), Darlene Turnbull (Leigh), Masstown, Darrell Hamilton (Shellie), Crowes Mills, Donnie Hamilton (Angela) and Dwayne Hamilton (Kelly Rose). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
