She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Brown of Galashiels Scotland and Johan Brown (MacFarlane) of Glasgow Scotland; her former husband Victor Beattie of Halifax; her siblings, Mac (Scotland), Eddie (Australia) and Georgina (England); and her close friend Wallace Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Beattie and Johan Grundy (Bob); her grandchildren, Lucas, Thomas, Siobhan and Erin; and her husband Bob.
