Barbara Nita MacAlpine Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2024, Barbara Nita MacAlpine of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Barbara Nita farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barbara Nita is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cora Thompson and Garnet Thompson; her brother Carl Thompson (Marsa); and her son-in-law Paul Gillis. She is survived by: her significant other Donald MacAlpine; her brother Bill Thompson (Rosalind); and her close friend Delores Gillis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
