She was predeceased by: her parents, Del Lavers and Bonnie Lavers; and her brothers, John and Eric. She is survived by: her children, Joanne McLeod (Gary), Ken O'Brien (Laurie Ann) and Dwayne O'Brien; her grandchildren, Bradley (Aleasha), Erica (Calynd), Lindsay and Danielle; her sister Mary; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra and Marion. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9). A reception was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
