We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Jean Hurley (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), born in Springhill, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Ellis and Anne Ellis (MacDonald); her siblings, William and Sharon Ann Stone; and her grandmother Cake.

She is survived by: her husband Donald George Hurley; her children, Denise McDonald (Stuart) of Lake Echo, Heather Riley (Doug) of Ship Harbour and Donald Carson Hurley of Dartmouth; her grandchildren, Jillian, Jamie McDonald of Lake Echo, Kristopher Riley of Dartmouth, Melanie Riley of Dartmouth and Kimberley McDonald of Dartmouth; her siblings, Carson Ellis (Kathy) of Kentville and Mary Ellen Squarebriggs (Bob) of Miramichi, NB.; her aunt Dorothy Chambers (Joseph) of Springhill; and her uncle Jack MacDonald (Faye) of Amherst. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
