She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Sparks and Florence Sparks; and her sisters, Ernastine and Annette. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Sparks, Shannon (Robert), Emmerson, Lindsay Sparks (Allexie) and Angela; her siblings, Stephen (Beth), Paul (Glenda), Ward (Tina), Valerie, Kathy (Terry), Frances, Wanda (Barry) and Tanya (Shawn); and her grandchildren, Olivia, Lacey, Kyleshia Sparks, Toree', Jazmine Emmerson, Journee' and Atlas Sparks. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
