She was predeceased by: her brothers, Edwin and Ben; and her husband Norman Smith. She is survived by: her children, Gary (Annette), Sharon and Beverly (Norman); her grandchildren, Jason (Christine), Kimberly (Jason), Stephen, Rodney (Malena), Ashley (Ronnie), Mark (Mary), Tara, Jacqueline (Scott) and Brad (Kallen); her great grandchildren, Leighton, Emmit, Nora, Georgie, Oliver, Jacob, Sophie, Scarlett, Paige and Rowyn; and her nephew Derek Vallis.

Due to current restrictions, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
