He was predeceased by: his parents, Yung Fai Sin and Fung Kam Sin (Choy); and his sister Alice Chan (Sin). He is survived by: his wife Teresa Sin; his daughter Carol Sin (Simon Dawes) of Calgary, AB; his grandchildren, Brandon, Jasmine, Clara Sin of Toronto, ON, Catherine Cho (Richard), Ariana and Cassandra; his son Donald Sin (Michelle Delbaere); his grandchildren, Henry and Isaac; and his sister Doris Fordyce (Sin). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
