It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Marie Doherty (Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 7, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Peart and Gladys Peart; her husband Harold Stanley Doherty; her children, Steven and Marilyn LeGoffic; her granddaughter Nichole; and her siblings, Francis, Earl Jr., Blaze and Sheila.
She is survived by: her children, Harold (Linda), Catherine Wiedemann (Ted), Susan Doherty–White, Tim (Catherine), Irene Doherty-Jackson, Patricia Doherty, Denise Conran and Neil (Jolene); her sisters, Janice Scott, Ramona Peart, Della Hayden (Ralph) and Lauchena Florian; and her pet Toopi.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Bide Awhile Animal Shelter Society.
