He was predeceased by: his parents, George W Moxon and Jean Moxon (Sellars); his wife Joan Moxon (Miller); his stepsons, Frank and John MacPherson; and his siblings, Gladys Webber (Murray), Shirley Nash (Thomas), Ruth Moxon and Marsden Moxon (Phyllis).

He is survived by: his son Marshall Roy Moxon; his daughters-in-law, Laurie (Fletchers Lake) and Anna MacLaughlin; his grandchildren, Mitchell Moxon (Antigonish), Cody Moxon (Fletchers Lake), Michael MacLaughlin (Beaverbank) and Devon MacLaughlin (Halifax); and his sisters, Ruby (Bill Ripley) and Georgina. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
