Mary Julia Shaw Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Julia Shaw of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 9, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John MacDonald and Anne MacDonald (Murray); her husband William A. Shaw; and her siblings, Margaret Poirier and Richard MacDonald.

She is survived by: her children, Deanna Shaw, Wanda Shaw (Gerry Daigle), Rosella Groom (Craig), Heather Shaw and Bill Shaw; her grandchildren, Ryan Wilcott (Sheryl), Amanda Shaw, Matthew Groom and Sierra Shaw; her great grandchild Matteo Shaw-Beazley; her niece Cathy Gale (Don); and her pet Scarlet. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
