He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Baker; his wife Heather; his son Charles; his godson John Bennett; his sister Margaret; his nephew Troy; his sister-in-law Joyce; his grandmother Rose; and his stepgrandfather Willie Lorraine.

He is survived by: his sons, Robert and Alex; his brothers, Merton MacAloney (Cathy), Kenneth Bennett and Kalvin Bennett (Jeanette); his grandchildren, Alisha, Valarie, Daffeney and Vincent; and his nieces, Marie, Lisa, Rachel and Shannon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory may be made to Valley Hospice, Canadian Cancer Society, or Red Cross.
