He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Clementine; his brothers, Phil and Vince; and his parents-in-law, Jim and Jeanette.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn (Landry); his sisters, Donna and Heather (Andy Smith); his siblings-in-law, Annette and Jim (Loretta); his niece Sabrina; his nephews, Sean and Matthew (Amanda); his great-niece Lily; his great-nephew Leander; and his daughters, Molly and Sally.

According to John's wishes and due to the current COVID-19 restrictions there will be no funeral or visitations.

Donations in memory of John can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association.
