He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wisen and Mary Wisen; and his sister Lorraine Carrier. He is survived by: his friend Troy Sharpe; his wife Patricia (Gammon); his children, April Murphy (Greg) and Christopher (Susan); his stepchildren, Darryl Braine (Tanya) and Kelly Braine (Michael); his grandchildren, John, Haley and Chloe; his stepgrandchildren, Joshua, Faith, Samantha, Paxton, Nevan and Jorja; and his siblings, Charles (Donna), Audrey Bourgeois and Sandra Comeau.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Red Cross.
