She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Reed (Creighton) and George Reed; her husband Murray; and her daughter Barbra. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Ackerley (Glenda) and Robert Ackerley; her grandchildren, Michael Ackerley (Lindsay), Bay, Holly Rhodenizer (Kenneth), Lloydminister and Alberta; her great grandchildren, Ella Rhodenizer, Jack Ackerley, Alexa Rhodenizer and Kate Ackerley; and her siblings, Mary Kennedy (Reed), Creighton Reed (Diane) and Murray Reed (Lorraine).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bayside Camp, Pioneer Girls, West End Baptist, Timberlea Baptist or Bridgewater Baptist.
