He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Wendy Murphy (Billy) of New Brandon, NB, Karen Lyons (Jerry) of Calgary, AB, Heather MacKenzie (Wilner), Janice MacDougall (John) of Chesley, ON, Nancy Gallant of Cole Harbour, NS, Carolyne Brown (Rick) of Georgetown, ON, Shirley Curley (Harold) of Ottawa, ON, David MacKenzie (Karen) of Edmonton, AB, Steven MacKenzie (Genevieve), Saint John, James MacKenzie (Krista) and Durham Bridge; his siblings, Thelma Oja of Fergus, ON, Joan Mitchell, Mississauga and Otis MacKenzie (Sandra); his wife Ruth Robinson; his parents, Otto MacKenzie and Lucy MacKenzie (Jardine); and his brothers, Beaumont, Kingston, Floyd and Robert. He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
