She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence John and Hazel Feilda Carrigan (Fraser); her husband John Harold West of Thorburn, N. S.; her siblings, Edith Hawkes, William and Leonard; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Hawkes and Edward Williams.
She is survived by: her sister Shirley; her son Fraser (Gerry) of Dartmouth; her grandchildren, Ann Marie West (Andy Ayers), Dallas, Brian (Lyuda), Norfolk and Virginia; and her great grandchildren, Lily, Mackenzie, Alexa, Aidan and Avery. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
