He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henri-Paul Devost and Jacqueline Carbonneau Devost; his wife Marilyn Gonnin; his sons, Steve (Lindsay) and Frédéric Devost (Jacqueline); his sisters, Nicole Godbout and Joanne Devost; his grandchildren, Addilyn, Brooklyn, Sarina and Jora Devost; his nephews, Mathieu and Michael Godbout; and his niece Amélie Beaudet.

Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Sarcoma Cancer Foundation of Canada or Canadian Blood Services.
