He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Stone and Theresa Stone. He is survived by: his sons, Josh (Melissa), Cameron and Dylan (Jessica); his stepdaughter Sarah; his wife Sylvia; his grandchildren, Cameron, Joe, Maddison, Mallory, Lucy and Lauryn; his pet Duke; his nephews, Eric and Jeremy; and his niece Katie.

Donations in his honor can be made to the NS Cancer Center or Palliative Care at the VG Hospital who provided the most.
