It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avard Ronald Barker of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ronald Barker and Edith Barker (Cleary); his wife Pearl Barker (Finlay); his children, Lynn and Ron (Deb); his grandson Avard (Danielle); his great grandchildren, A. J., April and Brooklyn; his sisters, Iona, Donna (Doug) and Wendy (Garnet); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Sampson and Nora Finlay.
