We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2018, Ruth Hilda Brown (Coldbrook, Nova Scotia), born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Butts and Helen Butts (Shaw); her husband Bill Brown; her sisters, Nita Butts and Vange Ratchford (Butts); her brother-in-law Billy Ratchford; and her son-in-law Brian Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Janet (Ron Perry), Helen (Fred Dixon), Charlie (Margot Hudson) and Wally; and her grandchildren, Bill Dixon (Leanne Antoski), Annemarie Norwood (Josh), Corey Miller, Joel Miller (Erin), Brett Miller (Billie-Dawn), Brenton Brown and Laura Crowell-Brown.

Memorial donations may be made to the Woodlawn United Church or charity of one's choice.
